Pictured above is the ancient town of Annecy, located in France. Looking a lot like the canals of Venice, Italy, the town was built along the natural waterways that lead to a nearby lake. In our opinion, the lovely homes and buildings along these waterways are much more attractive than the popular Italian destination.
